Jerry Brown inaugurated as California governor

Jerry Brown took the oath of office Monday for his third term as California governor at Memorial Auditorium in Sacramento. He first served from 1975 to 1983. He succeeds Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger as the 39th governor.
