The royal visit: Will and Kate’s Saturday in the Southland

On the second day of their trip to the Southland, William and Catherine attended a charity polo match at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club in Carpinteria, where William competed and Kate awarded the trophy to her husband after his team won. Tickets for the event, held in support of the American Friends of the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry, ranged from $400 to $4,000.

After the match, the couple returned to Los Angeles by helicopter to attend a black-tie event at the recently renovated Belasco Theater on Saturday night. There, William and Catherine mingled with Hollywood executives and A-listers, and up-and-coming British talent.

The inaugural “Brits to Watch” event was hosted by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, of which William was named president in February.

Kate is looking directly at the photographer, it's a lovely picture of her and no one gives a crap about the other people, so what is the issue?
