No swan song in sight for USC Marching Band director

Dr. Arthur C. Bartner has been the colorful director of the USC Marching Band since 1970. Though he used to say he would retire when Pete Carroll left USC he now says he’ll stay forever.

Try taking a midterm in the building next to the practice field as a former band member hearing Art rattling through the windows and all the chart music going through your head.

I didn't do well on that midterm!
