University of California police in riot gear keep hundreds of student protesters from entering the Highland Union Building at UC Riverside, where the UC regents were meeting Thursday.

    I am wondering why there are no pictures of the bruised and bloody students who had rubber projectiles fired at them. I don't understand why the LA Times isn't reporting that at all. Did your reporters leave early?
