Elton John gets his star
Oct. 23, 1975: Singer Elton John, in town for concerts at Dodger Stadium, relaxes next to the bronze star bearing his name that was dedicated on Hollywood’s Walk of Stars in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.
John arrived in a gold golf cart for the ceremony. His became the 1,662nd entertainment luminary to receive a star.
