High-level meeting

May 17, 1966: Workmen Lester Smith and Bob Richardson meet at corner of the building to exchange tools during work on new Coast Federal Savings sign at 2nd Street and Broadway in downtown Los Angeles.

This picture by staff photographer John Malmin was published as a stand-alone vertical image in the May 19, 1966 issue of the Los Angeles Times, shown below. Personally, I prefer the crop above – lots of leading lines – so my version gets top billing on this post.
