A Lebanese soldier runs across the street after a shootout in the city's Karakass district. Lebanese security forces stormed a building after a nighttime shootout with a man holed up inside a flat, an AFP correspondent at the site said.


Lebanese security forces take position as they storm the building. The gunman was killed and the body of another man was found inside the flat on the sixth floor, a security official told AFP on condition of anonymity.
