Running of the bulls in Spain

Pamplona’s famous Fiesta de San Fermin, which includes the running of the bulls through the historic heart of the Spanish city each day for eight days starting July 7, was made famous by the 1926 Ernest Hemingway novel “The Sun Also Rises.”  The festival attracts thousands of tourists annually despite condemnation from animal welfare groups.
