London 2012 Paralympic Games in photos

The London 2012 Paralympic Games were staged from Aug. 29 to Sept. 9. More than 4,ooo athletes from around the globe  competed in 20 sports, and just as with the Olympics earlier in the summer, the Paralympics had elaborately staged opening and closing ceremonies.
