I like Ike
Oct. 19, 1956: Butch Langhans, 4, holds an “I Like Ike” campaign button with his teeth during a short speech by President Eisenhower at the Lockheed Air Terminal in Burbank.
Eisenhower had just arrived at Burbank Airport during a reelection campaign swing through California. That evening he delivered a speech to over 22,000 people at the Hollywood Bowl.
