Best of the Web
The end of the year brings a lot of best of lists and roundups. I particularly enjoyed this collection by Time magazine highlighting a wire photographer. Longari makes photos that are timely and beautiful. The text in Time’s post is also quite a nice read.
I decided to point to another wrap-up post from Time because I really admired it. The range of photography created by these photographers makes a beautiful gallery. They all had their own styles that affected our industry.
This past week, I spent a lot of time exploring Lightbox [Time’s photography blog] because the magazine’s photo editors have really created a rich collection of interesting content. Gallery after gallery … so interesting and enlightening. Thanks for the inspiration.
Tim Tadder’s water wigs photography is delightful and enormously creative. The concept is genius and the execution is perfection. Tadder has a highly stylized point of view where the concept and final product incredibly spectacular.
I love the edit by Matthew Sebra’s photo column. The photography of surprising moments of iconic people is a good way to start the day. It’s a nice element of GQ’s style and fashion blog Eye. My only complaint is that not every photo has a photo credit.
