2013 Rio Carnival

Rio Carnival is a wild four-day celebration, 40 days before Easter. It officially started on Saturday and finishes on Fat Tuesday, the day before the religious period of Lent begins on Ash Wednesday. There are carnival celebrations in virtually every corner of Brazil, but the biggest and most famous carnival is undoubtedly the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro.
