Then and now: The L.A. Times building and City Hall

To the right of the Times building is a Security First National Bank branch. The entire block – in photo below – is now the location of the Los Angeles Police Department headquarters.
The Times Mirror Annex building originally housed the afternoon Los Angeles Mirror newspaper, which closed in 1962. The building is now known as Times South.
