Best of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2013 | Weekend one

The three-day Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, featuring headliners Blur, The Stone Roses, Phoenix and Red Hot Chili Peppers, opened Friday at the Empire Polo Club in Indio. The sold-out festival will present the same lineup next weekend. Check back often; we’ll be updating this gallery with pictures of performers and fans.
