Faces of Coachella 2013

As tens of thousands of music lovers descended on the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this weekend, Los Angeles Times photographers Brian van der Brug and Bethany Mollenkof roamed the vast fields of the Empire Polo Club searching for the most interesting characters for our annual “Faces of Coachella” portrait gallery.

A larger collection of images from this year’s festival, including many of the performers, is available too: Best of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival 2013

Also, check out our “Faces of Coachella 2012″ portrait gallery and 360° virtual tour of that festival.

Full coverage throughout the weekend from our team of reporters can be found at Pop & Hiss, The Times’ pop music blog.
