–Millions of Muslims from all over the world celebrated the Eid al-Fitr, the festival marking the end of the Ramadan fasting month. We make stops in Anaheim, Iran, India and Indonesia.

–The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta,  Europe’s largest annual hot air balloon event, is underway in England. The city of Bristol is seen by many balloonists as the home of modern ballooning.

–Rain is falling, making for challenging conditions during second round of the 95th PGA Championship in Rochester, N.Y. More photos

–An Ethiopian air force plane crashed while attempting to land at Mogadishu’s Aden Adde International Airport. Four of the six crew members were killed.

Add stops in France, Hungary and Japan to round out the report.
