Mourners join hands on a residential street in the Crenshaw district at the site of a crash that killed two men and one woman and left another person in serious condition early Sunday when a Cadillac Escalade slammed into a tree and burst into flames. Firefighter Stan Baynes keeps a Doberman Pinscher named Diablo above water while he is being rescued from the partially frozen lake in O'Fallon Park in St. Louis. The dog's owner said Diablo ran onto the ice chasing a goose and fell through the ice. The dog was in the ice for about 25 minutes, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. The rescue was successful.
