Marilyn Monroe in 1962 at LAX
March 2, 1962: Marilyn Monroe steps from Mexicana Comet Jet after arriving at Los Angeles International Airport from Mexico City.
Los Angeles Times staff photographer George Fry caught up with Monroe as she returned from a 10-day vacation in Mexico. Monroe posed for several photos at the aircraft, then with an unidentified customs agent.
