You’re definitely out!

May 20, 1979: Umpire Ken Kaiser makes sure Alan Bannister of the Chicago White Sox knows he is out on an attempted steal in the second inning.

After the Angels’ Nolan Ryan walked Bannister in the second inning, he was thrown out by catcher Terry Humphrey. For the game, Ryan gave up two hits, struck out 11 and retired the last 20 White Sox batters in the Angels’ 4-0 win.
