Photosynthesis: A free, daylong, outdoor photo and music festival
Photosynthesis, a one-day photo and music festival presented by the Annenberg Foundation, is set for Aug. 9 from 2 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event at Century Park in Century City, on the lawn adjacent to the Annenberg Space for Photography, is free and a great opportunity to enjoy photography and music in one spot.
Scheduled musical performances include the Murphy Family Band, Run Boy Run, the James Harman Band and Rusty Truck, and between musical sets, famed photographers Mark Seliger, Ethan Russell and Amelia Davis are to share stories behind some iconic photography.
Go for the event and you can also enjoy the Annenberg Space for Photography’s current exhibition: Country: Portraits of an American Sound.
In addition to all of the day’s activities, the event is also an opportunity to get your portfolio reviewed by leaders in the industry.

Though admission is free, don’t plan on just showing up. Click the link and register for a spot.
