Illegal boat towing
The original caption in the June 13, 1970, Los Angeles Times reported:
Hiroshi Nakano of Los Angeles holds traffic citation he received for four State Motor Vehicle Code violations after police motorcycle officers hailed him to curb. Nakano apparently caught the officer’s eye while he was hauling a 14-foot boat on a trailer behind his motorcycle. Traffic officers pointed out to Nakano that the weight of the boat was twice that of the motorcycle.
