Today we bring you a Christmas-themed Pictures in the News. Starting in downtown Los Angeles, where youngsters greet Santa Claus in front of the Fred Jordan Mission, where thousands of impoverished inner city boys and girls received new toys. Just a couple of blocks away, David Santamaria, dressed as Santa Claus, gets into the holiday spirit while riding down Broadway with son David, 5, in tow.

Tokyo: A diver wearing Santa Claus clothes feeds rays and fish for a special underwater season show at Sunshine Aquarium.
