Bangladeshi rescue workers attempt to lift the wreckage of a ferry that capsized in the Padma River in Manikganj district, about 25 miles northwest of Dhaka on Monday. As many as 140 passengers were thought to be on the river ferry when it capsized Sunday afternoon after being hit by a cargo vessel in central Bangladesh. More than 50 were killed in the latest shipping mishap in the South Asian nation.
