Friday’s Pictures in the News begins outside Washington, D.C., where members of the 3rd U.S. Infinity Regiment place American flags at the foot of graves in Arlington National Cemetery in the annual “flag in” rite for Memorial Day.

Dublin, Ireland: Polling stations across Ireland are open for the referendum on same-sex marriage, the first time a nationwide vote has been held on the issue anywhere.

Bayeun, Indonesia: Ethnic Rohingya Muslim men, among more than 400 Rohingya migrants from Myanmar and Bangladesh rescued by Indonesian fishermen off the coast of Aceh province, are transported on a truck to a new detention center.

Anaheim: An image of Snow White is projected on spraying water as Disney California Adventure shows off its new”World of Color: Celebrate!” during the park’s 60th anniversary celebration.

Nashville: LP Field, home of the NFL’s Tennessee Titans, is taken over by 1,000 participants in a yoga class for charity.
