Los Angeles: Activists protest in front of Mayor Eric Garcetti’s home. The Los Angeles Police Commission is scheduled to decide whether two LAPD officers acted within policy in the fatal shooting of Ezell Ford.  Garcetti said he was confident that commissioners would “conduct an impartial and fair-minded review.”

Tixtla, Guerrero State, Mexico: A man throws stones against members of the Community Police force, who oppose the Mexican election. In Tixtla, the election was canceled because of attacks on voting booths.
