Beijing: A Chinese investor monitors stock prices on a computer terminal at a brokerage house. China’s main stock market index fell for a fourth day Tuesday, plunging 7.6% to an eight-month low.

Reunion Island: Lava flows out of the Piton de la Fournaise volcano, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, as it erupts on the French island in the Indian Ocean.

Negev Desert, Israel: An African migrant waits for transportation after his release from the Holot Detention Center. Hundreds of African migrants who came to Israel illegally were being released from the detention center after a court order.
