Dec. 10, 1932: Aerial photo of Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum during football game as USC beat Notre Dame 13-0.

This photo appeared in the Dec. 25, 1932 Los Angeles Times. The accompanying caption reported:

A Bowlful of Football Fans.

Looking down on the Coliseum as 105,000 spectators see Southern California turn back the South Bend invaders. In the distance on right is the new General Hospital, and, nearly on a line with it at the left is the City Hall tower, dominating the Los Angeles business district.

    So cool to see what LA looked like in 1932. Where are all the sky scrapers haha. Looks like city hall was the tallest back then.
