Walter Lee Williams, a former USC professor who was arrested in Mexico after being indicted in the U.S. for sex crimes against children, is brought back to Los Angeles to face charges, leading off Thursday's edition of Pictures in the News. For decades, Rosendahl has opened his doors to people who need help. In the 1970s, he let a group of homeless teenagers stay in his Venice Beach apartment, including a young couple who camped in his walk-in closet. Seventeen years ago, he took in an aging street performer, Swami X, who now receives hospice care under Rosendahl’s watch.

Paul Waters and Kevin Voecks were married June 17, 2008, among the first couples wed in California after the state Supreme Court ruling legalizing same-sex marriage.
Their wedding, organized in just 12 days by Waters, was held on the lot of CBS Studio Center in Studio City and attended by 300 people. They were escorted down the aisle by Waters’ mother, Peggy.
