A massive bomb explodes in the center of Oslo, causing widespread destruction, injuring many and killing several, while on a wooded island not far from the Norwegian capital, a gunman opens fire at a youth convention of the ruling Labor Party, killing more than 80 people, with teenagers feared to be among the victims. Norwegian news agency NTB says police have confirmed that a bomb caused the explosion on Friday that killed at least two people and injured many others at the government headquarters in Oslo. The blast tore open several Oslo buildings, including the prime minister's office. Windows were shattered and the street was littered with documents. Read more. View Post»
