Puyehue Volcano erupts in Chile

An eruption at the Puyehue-Cordon Caulle volcanic complex in southern Chile has sent ash clouds across South America. The eruption began on Saturday, and by Monday about 4,000 people had been evacuated from 22 communities around the volcano, which is near the border with Argentina. View Post»
