Lawrence K. Ho
Lawrence K. Ho has been a staff photographer for The Times since 1986. Born in Guangdong, China, in 1950, he immigrated to the United States in 1972. He earned a communications degree from California State University, Long Beach. Before The Times, Ho worked at the Herald Community News and freelanced in corporate and editorial works.
Ho was a member of The Times staff that won the Pulitzer Prize for its coverage of the 1992 Los Angeles riots and the 1994 Northridge earthquake. He and his wife live in Southern California.
